A repaired golden crack was chosen as the focal point of the brand identity and was integrated into the character strokes. Together with a full crack pattern, it invokes the viewer's interest and feels relevant with its modern sensibility.
To raise awareness and spark interest, we designed a collection of playsets with broken faux artifacts and a Kintsukuroi repair kit. These playsets bring the restoration experience from lab to home. They provide opportunities to escape the frenetic pace of life and relax the mind. And through the act of repair, customers create functional houseware with a one-of-a-kind look.
